Victorian Outfit

Given 10 days to create a full Victorian outfit for a themed party I set about researching and making this ensemble. The correct underpinnings create the right framework for any costume. [link]
After putting together the underwear I set out to make this four piece outfit. There is an underskirt, and overskirt, a short sleeved blouse and a long jacket. Working weekends and evenings (I used to have a day job) I managed to fill the brief. The fabric was a luscious reversible jacquard which, although not strictly accurate, certainly gives the right feel for the period.

With the new costume categories I couldn't decide whther this should be historical or theatrical because of the fabric I used. I decided that as the underwear is accurate and the cut is historical I would put it in this category. If anyone has any strong feelings to the contrary please let me know and I'll move it to theatrical.
