Steve's waistcoat

Green cotton and yellow silk thistle brocade fabric.

The cut dates to a tailoring book from the early 20th C I didn't know whether to list this in costumes or clothing and decided on clothing because I don't know if this fabric would be appropriate for the period of the cut. The waistcoat is not for ane period reconstruction so I decided 'clothing'.

The cutting instructions appear to have been written is some sort of code but actually when you follow them to the letter the are easy and logical. The waistcoat fit perfectly first time cut directly from the measurements.

I will probably upload better photos but at the moment I'm pushed for time...
