Sandrine has some lovely friends. For her birthday they commissioned her this corset. :hug:

Black silk, two layers of black coutil, black eyelets, black duchess satin bias binding and black lace.
Black, black, black! :D

Sprung steel boning either side of the eyelets and spiral wires throughout the rest of the corset.

This style is particularly waist enhancing - I hope she likes it. I've very pleased with the way it went together even though I couldn't pad Gladys (my small tailors dummy) to get the human squish factor.

I was procrastinating quite a bit after putting the first half together. It was so damn near perfect I worried that the second half wouldn't match in precision. In fact it's better :D Though not so as you'd notice :giggle:

I love the duchess binding, such lovely quality - I think I'll be using it more often, it's a shame the colours choices are so limited.

I just adore your corsets. And I love the fact that this fabulous black garment also has a modesty panel (or whatever it is they are called). Kudos all around.

I call them modesty panels as well. I don't usually put them into my corsets but if it's what the customer wants then I do. Modesty panels are very rare historically, because they're not necessary in underwear, especially as corset were always worn over a shift, chemise or combinations.
