I am a couturiere, costumiere, corsetiere with over 30 years experience. I have been dressmaking for as long as I can remember, I made clothes for myself while I was at primary school, as I became more interested in fashion I became more interested in the history of fashion and the underpinnings that give clothes the shape they appear to be. So I learned how to make corsets, farthingales, paniers and petticoats.

I love sewing, it is my passion and now my livelihood. I continue to learn new techniques andimprove my old ones. When I stop learning then it's time to give up!

My current delivery schedule is 6-8 weeks from confirmation of order, I'm versatile and willing to try almost anything...

That's partly why I do it, to bring more attention to them and I started the series in January. It was a pleasure to have featured you! :iconbwavoplz:

Oh, ouau!

Et s'il vous plaît, pardonnez mon français si je me suis trompé - je suis un peu rouillé... ^^;

"Madame, that is the ugliest nose I have ever seen, and I complement you on it; it suits you."
:iconjanes-wardrobe:
Merci, merci bien, et merci de parle en francais mais je suis anglais ;) Although I speak French reasonably well the rust is still showing through after four years of revision :giggle:

I understood pretty well what you were asking for (I think). You can use my costume for reference but it's better to use primary sources where possible. Errors creep in and become magnified, details get omitted. It very much depends on what you are using my costumes for - if it is for inspriation I have no issues at all, if it is for general line equally I have no problem. If it's for finer detail - unless I have described in detail my references in the deviation description you would do much better to look at original material. I am however flattered by your request...
